LastPass – An Awesome Password Management service for your iPhone & Windows/Mac/Linux Browsers, LastPass v/s 1Password!

Remembering passwords is always a pain! 1Password is a great password manager if you have a Mac. LastPass’ FREE service for your favorite browser on major operating systems  (Windows, Mac and Linux) is much better! LastPass for the iPhone is even more awesome just because your passwords used on desktop/laptop browsers are automatically made available on your iPhone in a quick and painless manner.

LastPass for the iPhone is a premium feature and it is currently at a $1 per month which is not much given the productivity that is bundled with it.

The first step would be to install LastPass’ plugin/extension on your favorite browser. I tried it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox and it works a treat. Once you install the plugin/extension, you will be prompted to create an account and then leave the rest to it! It will ask you if it is ok to save the login info for any website you just typed and it stores the data on their servers.

Watch this video to setup LastPass on your iPhone and you will also see 1Password in action for comparison purposes.
