AT&T wasted no time in buying T-Mobile while Sprint were supposedly eyeing T-Mo. This is indeed great news for the consumers given the hassles with iPhone unlocking in the US GSM market. The 1700 GSM band that T-Mobile used exclusively for 3G network barred many iPhone users to compromise on data speeds to settle for EDGE speeds.
We can now expect the latest and greatest from Google and Apple – Android and iOS.
T-Mobile users, DON’T upgrade or buy any hardware from T-Mobile for now!

Google’s Nexus One is one of the spiffiest mobile devices ever, packed with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 512 MB RAM. Hardware like this can definitely compete head-on with Apple’s iPhone 3GS.

iPhone has been released in Austria by T-Mobile Austria with a price tag of 399 Euros for 8GB and 499 Euros for 16GB. Tariff Plans Information can be found here. Followed by the Austrian release iphone has also been released in Ireland by O2 Ireland with the same price tags. Unlike O2 UK, the tariff plans of O2 Ireland do not include visual voice mail, free Wi- fi and even an Unlimited Data Plan. More Information regarding the O2 Ireland tariff plans can be found here

Amidst all this heated 1.1.3 firmware discussion, my utterly cautious friend Felipe who survived with 1.0.2 firmware ever since he bought it here at the United States had a panic attack when the iPhone stopped keeping track of the SIM in his unlocked iPhone when he reached Germany!!
