Jailbreakme.com is finally up in its 3.0 iteration with support for iPad 2. Yes, iPad 2 was the only iDevice without a jailbreak but not anymore. Comex is the guy behind jailbreakme.com.

The following devices+iOS versions are currently supported :

  • iPad1: 4.3 through 4.3.3
  • iPad2: 4.3.3
  • iPhone3GS: 4.3 through 4.3.3
  • iPhone4: 4.3 through 4.3.3
  • iPhone4-CDMA: 4.2.6 through 4.2.8
  • iPod touch 3g: 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3
  • iPod touch 4g: 4.3 through 4.3.3

The beauty of this jailbreak is that it is completely cable-free. All you need is an activated device (iPhone) or iPad or iPod Touch. If you are stuck at bootscreen or see a cable on the screen, you have to try some other tools (TinyUmbrella/blackra1n/limera1n) depending on the iOS version. This jailbreak is untethered too meaning you don’t have to worry about running out of charge or rebooting the device.
