My Tesla Model 3 received firmware update 2019.5.4 which includes pretty significant updates like Sentry Mode, Dog Mode, Dashcam recording from side cameras and auto-folding side mirrors at set locations including HomeLink linkup!

I shot a quick video to demonstrate these features. Drop a word if you want more details!

Have you ever wondered if you can use more than one external monitor with your shiny new MacBook Air? Well, for starters, it has only one DisplayPort (Thunderbolt that can be daisy chained for multiple thunderbolt devices but they are so expensive as of this writing). USB 3.0 port to the rescue. I used this docking station from iClever ($70+ on Amazon).
Following is a video that shows the docking station in action. I used a 2013 MacBook Air (i7, 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD). The displays shown in …

AppRadio is a cool implementation with flawed execution out of the box. It needs some customization to bring a lot of value out of it. Apple’s devices work with AppRadio but Android phones allow you full touch access to the beautiful 7 inch display of AppRadio 3 head-units. Apple’s CarPlay requires either a newer car manufactured 2014 and over or purchasing a head unit. AppRadio 3 is a cheaper and better alternative!

There was a lot of confusion amongst Apple employees at my nearest Apple store regarding the unlocked iPhone 5s. Not a single Apple genius knew that T-Mobile iPhone 5s when bought at full price is in fact unlocked for global GSM use. I was kind of a guinea pig when I challenged the Apple genius into saying Apple’s website clearly states iPhone 5s model A1533 is unlocked for global use. It works with any GSM carriers including AT&T and T-Mobile with full LTE access no less! That is the number …

Until recently, unlocking the iPhone has been a great deal. Having covered the iPhone since the original iPhone was unveiled, I know how much of a pain unlocking the iPhone can be. It required heavy technical skills at first followed by user friendly tools. It would require jailbreaking the device first and then unlocking using ultrasn0w. I don’t even want to start about the ugly Gevey SIMs! Not anymore. With the iPhone exclusivity contract between Apple and AT&T expired, things got better. Unlocking the device to use on T-Mobile, Prepaid …
