The beta firmware limited to the chosen few is already in the wild. A guy from hackint0$h has it and he tried installing it too! He got this error while trying to activate, a lot stricter activation.

A new app called Capture has been released. This utility is used to capture the screenshots on the iphone. It saves the files to camera roll (var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE). It works on all versions (personally tested on 1.1.4)
